Three months in and trying to forget all of the things I hate about that place so there’s no creeping feeling something bad is happening.
Summer ends, it’s late September and my seasonal depression wants to get in my way, but that’s ok! Still gonna be 83 on Halloween.
I’m done with winter no more snow for me, on New Years you can catch me on the balcony in shorts and a t shirt, maybe some flip flops, the weather’s so nice I could sleep outside.
Three months in and trying to forget all of the things I hate about that place so there’s no creeping feeling something bad is happening.
Thought about it a thousand times, maybe where I grew up is no longer mine, and that’s alright. So there’s no creeping feelings something hasn’t crossed my mind.
Remind myself I’m not on vacation, I’m not going back to Jersey until I sign a record deal or hit the lottery.
I miss the city, I miss my friends, I don’t miss traffic on route 3 or the George Washington bridge. I’m just hoping that I live til the day when all my friends pack up and move down the street from me.
